The Association of Franch Irish in Lyon (AFIL) was founded in march 2008 by a group of irish and french men and women based in Lyon who wanted to bring together enthusiasts of Gaelic culture and sport. The Club hopes to establish a long-lasting community which will benefit not only the present members, but generations to come.

Membership:
Membership fees are 25€ per person or 50€ per family. This include insurance for club activities and discount on outing and concerts.
