The saturday, 27th november at "La Maison des Passages" will take place the AFIL's Ceili Mor, an evening of irish music and dance with Edith Lozano.
- Open doors at 7pm
- Music with Shelta from 8pm and Ceili at 8.30pm
- Demonstration of irish tap with Irish Tap and Dance.

Meal and drinks available

Place: La Maison des Passages, 44 rue St Georges, Lyon 5ème, métro Vieux Lyon

The same day a bodhran masterclass is organised with Tania Buisse, from 2pm to 6pm at "La Maison des Passages".

The association "Irish Tap and Dance", founded in 2001, aims at developing the spirit of Irish dance through classes and occasional events (workshops, public and private shows).
In September 2010, David Moore (former lead dancer in Riverdance) will start teaching in Lyon, exclusively with the association "Irish Tap and Dance".
David Moore, as a TCRG holder (Teagascóir Choimisiúin le Rinci Gaelacha), is a certified Irish Dance teacher, and will teach twice a month to dancers from all levels, beginners to advanced, children and adults.




Classes schedules:

Thursday (campus de la Doua):
8pm - 10pm : adults (intermediate/advanced)

Friday (salle de danse Ribas, porte de Croix-Luizet):
6.30pm - 8pm : adults (beginners)

Saturday (campus de la Doua):
9.30am - 11am : children aged 4+ (all levels)
11am - 12.30am : adults (beginners)
2pm - 3.30pm : adults (intermediate/advanced)
3.30pm - 6pm : preparation for grades (children/adults - all levels) - monthly activity

Gelic footbal exibithion - Ceili Mor (bal irlandais)
- Due to the gaelic football referee training from Europe (official GAA) in Lyon, an exibithion game will be organise in La Doua, the saturday afternoon from 3pm.

- The evening, in "la maison des Passages" (44 rue St Georges, Lyon 5ème), an "Irish Dances Night" will be organise in collaboration with the association "Irish Tap and Dances" from 8pm.

CULTURAL TOUR - Musée Gadagne
Musee Gadagne is the magnificent new museum in Vieux Lyon.
We've booked a 90 minute tour of the Renaissance building in English/French for 2.45 PM on Sunday January 24th.
A traditional tartiflette in an Irish pub before the tour - at 13.00 in Johnny's Kitchen, 48 Rue Saint-Georges, Lyon, 69005

The price of lunch (not including drinks), museum entrance ticket, and guided tour:
