L’AFIL a crée en 2008 les premières équipes de football gaélique de Lyon pour les hommes et les femmes. Affilié au Gaelic Athletic Association et à Gaelic Games Europe, Lugdunum CLG est engagé dans le championnat de France Fédéral (4 tournois au minimum dans l’année):
The AFIL has creatd in 2008 the first gaelic football team in Lyon for mens and womens: The Lugdunum CLG, whose affiliated to GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) and ECB (European County Board). The club is engaged in the federal championship in France (4 tournament at least in the year).
